Cogent SCADA SMS Terms
As a user of Cogent SCADA software, you have complete control to opt in or out of SMS (Short Message Service), or text, notifications to your mobile device. Simply edit your notification roster to add or remove contacts as required.
Note that by entering your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from Cogent regarding equipment status. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on number of equipment alarms and events that occur while your number is on the notification roster.
If you have trouble editing your notification roster, you can opt-out by calling 888-239-2218 or emailing techsupport@cogentcompanies.com, providing your name, and requesting your callout roster be disabled. Text messages sent to the source phone number from which notifications are sent to you are unmonitored by humans and will have no effect on the notification roster.
