Cogent’s Velocity Pump Rental Expands Territory

Cogent’s Velocity rental brand officially became the distributor for Xylem Godwin Pumps in April 2020. In five short years, we are pleased to share that Velocity has exceeded expectations by executing multiple large and complex jobs and continuing to gain remarkable momentum with pumping equipment on rent into 2026.

To build on this success, Cogent has reached an agreement to become the distributor for Xylem Godwin Pumps in Southern Illinois, Western Kentucky and in Minnesota, adding to our existing regional coverage across Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. This expanded relationship provides access to a best-in-class line for our customers in these new regions.

For local customers in Minnesota, Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois who already have an established relationship with Xylem, this territory expansion is designed to ensure continuity and a smooth transition.  Moving forward, future ordering, invoicing, and logistical coordination will simply transition to Velocity’s dedicated administrative and operational teams.
