Despite arriving disassembled, the pumps were meticulously cleaned, inspected, and rebuilt using new split stator halves, rotors, coupling rods, mechanical seals, and other critical components.<\/p>\n

This innovative split stator design features Smart Conveying Technology (SCT), which allows for quicker maintenance without removing suction or discharge piping, reducing downtime. Additionally, the integrated re-tensioning system extends the life of the rotor and stator, offering up to 2x the lifespan of conventional designs.<\/p>\n

Our Service and Repair Shop recently completed a full rebuild of a Xylem Goulds Water Technology<\/a>\u00a0 VIT Vertical Turbine Pump. Upon inspection, we discovered that the bronze impellers were severely worn, along with significant wear on the shafts in the bushing and packing areas.<\/p>\n

The rebuild included thorough cleaning, new bushings, and new shafts. Additionally, the customer opted for an upgrade to 316 Stainless Steel impellers instead of bronze, ensuring greater durability and longer service life. Every step of the process was completed using OEM parts, guaranteeing high-quality components paired with the expertise of our skilled Service Technicians.<\/p>\n

\"ittThe Edelmann Repair Team recently completed the overhaul and repair of a large ITT Goulds Pumps<\/a> Model AF 20\u201d x 20\u201d Axial Flow Pump for a local customer.<\/p>\n

The repair consisted of the complete disassembly and inspection of the pump and power frame, replacement of bearings, INPRO bearing isolators, and the repair and installation of a John Crane 5620 double mechanical seal.<\/p>\n
